[it's been a while]That's a little bit of an understatement. The last time I updated my journal was over a year ago.
When I look back at some of my really old journal entries, I can't help but laugh. Was that really me?
Was that the personality I seemed to exude those days? Or, more accurately, the lack of personality?
Funny how a single year can change a person so drastically. Frontal lobe finalization, anyone?
My sentences are really disconnected today.
BUT that's beside the point.
I'm pretty excited right now.
I'm currently co-authoring a scientific paper for the SAE, and it'll be presented next year.
(oh, my prof is really amazingly wonderful...)
It's on the growth of microorganisms in enclosed lunar systems (including wastes and food products) and after months and months of organics testing on urine and acidity tests and foam persistance and plate counting, I can finally see everything falling into place.
...As a note to all those who may be reading: do not, under any circumstances, distill urine without a hood. The smell will invariably kill you.
But now that several legs of the project have been completed, it's time for me to look forward and start data analyzation with my luffly team (and report writing, of course... time to look up reference books!)
It's been a great few months at the lab... I think I now know what I want to do with my life.

I'm glad you like my art- I've been a little too busy right now to draw regularly, but I hope to get back into the swing of things in a little bit. Hopefully.
